Paws Letters
This section is dedicated to all the wonderful letters
I have been receiving from YOU!
Hi Melody,

I feel that your site was soo helpful to me in finding my missing cat and you were so kind in your email and giving me your home phone number I would like do something to help you! I have since gone back to your site and I see that you have a list of things that you need. Living in MA it seems senseless to waste money mailing anything but if you think a $25. check will do any good at all I would love to know where to send it. I took my cat to the vet today and though see lost a full pound after being lost for 6 days she seems to be fine otherwise.
Thank you for your prayers!

Sincerely, Terri :)

Dear Melody,

It has been a while since we last talked, but I know you are so very busy helping other people find their lost pets. The other day we saw some flyers at the vet's office that had a distinctly "Melody-like" flavor to them! Rachel even recognized your ever helpful phrases and influence on

Muffy & Yvonne

her own, even as young as she is. As you know, life has been "normal" again with Muffy home. I see her with different eyes after having lost her, I am just so glad to have her home.   Mr. C., the man who took Muffy, has never responded in any in regards to what he did in taking her and dumping her far from home. It amazes me that he is unable to accept responsibility for what he did, nor did he tell the truth or try to help or make amends. I mostly just feel pretty sorry for him. It must not be fun to be a person like him. At any rate, you were right, that good things always come out of everything, no matter how dim things seem. Thank you for the encouragement. You and the miracle of Muffy getting home---are the good things. That far outweighs one man's crummy values and actions. Yes!

I wanted to send a special thank you all along to let you know how much I truly appreciate you for who you are and what you did for us. You are an amazing human being with all your energy and enthusiasm for helping and giving. You even have a wonderful voice and way of talking that is so comforting. You make the world a better place just by being in it. You make things warmer and friendlier. Bless your heart!I am enclosing a no-longer needed mug shot of Muffy that we had for her flyers. Pin her picture up on your bulletin board to remember that you made our lives happier and whole again by helping us to find her. If you ever have bad days or get discouraged, look at Muffy's picture, to remind you of the successes and miracles you have make possible daily for many. Little things mean a lot! You mean a lot to us and we can never thank you enough for all you have done for us, and especially for our Muffy.

Love and hugs,
Yvonne Bremerton, Washingto

Hi Melody,

This is Gwyn, you helped us with Sky, our newf who was stolen.
First of all I want to say thank you. Because we have not gotten sky back, you may not realize how much you helped Brian and me, but you did. Of all the money we spent, you were the only one worth it. You told us what we should do in the first days after Skykomish was taken and we should have gone with that, but I guess people in desperate situations will do what ever they think will help. We are now know who has her (it was who we thought all along) I just need to be able to prove it.
I ended up in counseling over the whole thing. My therapist said nothing you had not already told me.. Again, I just wanted to say thank you.

Now we have another Newf named Boagie. and a Dane lab mix, Baby, I found her, dumped on the side of the road in the beginning of June, 2 months after sky was taken. She was not more than 4 weeks old.

I think God was trying to help my broken heart by delivering her to me.

I think of you so often and how much you helped us,, helped me. If ever there was a way I could assist you all you would have to do was ask. I remember we spoke and you said when you are done with a case people just move on and you never hear from them again. I want you to know that has never been the case with me. Now when I see a lost sign, I call the number and let them know what you taught me. I let the person know they are not alone and I tell them about your web site. I am proud to say with the advise you give I have been able to help 2 people find their fur kids.. it is a wonderful feeling to be able to do so.

You are wonderful person with an amazing talent and passion. I feel like you have taught me so much and I would just like to say thank you and, it would be great if we could just keep in touch.

Newfoundlly yours, Gwyn .

Dear Seattle Times Newspaper;

It was fantastic to see an article that describes Melody's dedication to rescuing pets and finding abandoned pets loving homes.

Melody was more helpful than I can say when my dog Riley was hit by a car and disappeared for a few days. She offered

suggestions on what wording to use on the fliers we put out and she was tireless in her support when Riley was able to come home from the vet minus one leg. She would come over at a moment's notice to help me change bandages and to check on Riley's progress and recovery. There were days that I just don't know how I would have made it through without Melody's support and belief that Riley would be all right.

It's been a couple of years, and I'm happy to say that Riley has been fully

recovered for some time now.

I cannot offer enough praise to Melody for her tireless efforts to help anyone and everyone who has lost a pet. It is truly her life's passion, and she has helped to enrich the lives of more pets and pet owners than any organization I know. She is a one woman army, and more than deserves recognition and appreciation for all she does.
